Appealing to the senses

Im struggling with lust. My new laptop is so hot that its distracting.
I said to my laptop, “are you wearing space pants?”.... no reply, I said “Because your ass is out of this world!”
I mean um no I didn’t say that. Goodness.

How can a machine be so attractive?

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii love technology!
Always and forever
*Tear*
Always and forever!

My old laptop died last Friday, an electrical problem, I got a new one on Sunday. Don’t think it was worth while to get it fixed, it was just getting too old like about 5 or 6 years, though I only had it for about 3.5 of those cause I got it second hand for $900. I think I got enough life out of it.

This one is a major upgrade, my old one didn’t even have a CD burner, this one has a dual layer DVD burner. And USB 2.0 I know its been around for a while but man its so!much!faster! ahhhhhh you really appreciate stuff like that when your used to things just being slow. So good, now when I need to back up work I can just burn it, instead of copying it to a flash drive and then taking it to another computer to make a CD.

Unfortunately it came loaded with a tone of demos for puzzle games. Luckily im not the biggest fan of puzzle games, yet they can be addictive sometimes (I do have a weakness for spider solitaire!), though I suspect their appeal is only strong when Im supposed to be working on something else. Must resist.

Your Keeeeeeys are like a flock of doves…... Flyiiiiiiiiiing up to heaven above
Always and forever….

How about some minted green peas?

The soap in our bathroom smells like $2 shop plastic toys, it is Signature range Vanilla crème hand soap refill with vitamin E. stay way from it or be prepared for a day of cheap smelling hands.

I haven’t been in the blogosphere much recently, which is an attempt to avoid procrastination, and should only last until im finished writing up. My bloglines has about 200 posts for me to catch up on so far. Im not saying when I’ll be finished because I have proven to be completely useless at predicting such a date.

My supervisor is away on annual leave, which is actually no big problem because I have been working from home mostly and haven’t needed her help during this stage. When your at home you don’t have to make your lunch, which is so much better, cause I mean who actually likes making lunch in the morning? Any one? I don’t, but I do it cause it saves money. Anyway when your at home you can just make it at lunch time. Or when you live 5 min from Uni you can walk home at lunch time, those were the days! And Dan used to cook me eggs some times in those days. I felt loved. And Becs gave me neck massages. I felt loved. Anyway back to lunches, yeah I have been having grilled cheese toasties with spaghetti and baked beans and avocado and oregano and sweet basil and tomato paste and lemon pepper seasoning and colby cheese and chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce, but not all mixed together. By the way, what happened to Oprah, whats day time TV with out her? Must be in-between seasons or something cause all that is on at lunch time is Dr Phil or even worse… Tyra! Hahahaha so SCARY! She just makes me cringe, though in fairness I didn’t stick around too long to make a full evaluation.

Oh, Me and Joe’s lifegroup are hot, and wildly handsome, I mean hot because we won the Oscars (short film competition), and wildly handsome because all the ladies say so. We didn’t get banned from it this year, a bit disappointing considering all the violence we threw in there. But oh well you cant be an underground cult favorite all the time. But man some of the others were pretty funny, If you havnt seen them yet look out for the Bollywood one and Captain Commandment, both absolutely hilarious, and the rest all stepped it up this year, it was a great night with a pretty big attendance. Thanks Jared and the team who organized it!!!

And so I see how much I need God

I am more and more convinced that it is god who does a good work in me. I just know and have seen my life crumble as I battled on my own. If only I had realized sooner how much I was ignoring god. Where would I be if I had of spent the battle in his arms? Now I will run, as fast as I can into those arms. Now I know my folly was any battle I went into on my own. My only hope is in him, and it is good for it to be there.
